CHILDREN
The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is, that He created them in His Image and wants relationship with them. We teach how His word applies to their lives in creative ways through engaging teaching, creative games and play and supportive environments., We guide kids toward a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God; that because of sin we are separated from Him, but He sent His Only Son Jesus to pay the penalty for our sin to restore relationship with Him. We want kids to know that the Bible is not just stories, but real historical encounters of real people with God who loves them. Children's Church meets Sundays from 11:30am - 12:15pm, and on Wednesday nights during the adult Bible study from 7:00pm - 8:00pm.
FAITH BIBLE INSTITUTE
Faith Bible Institute is a comprehensive verse-by-verse study through the Bible for high school youth and adults at every stage of their spiritual life. Based out of Monroe Louisiana, Faith Bible Institute offers a 3 year course through the Bible, including classes in Old Testament, New Testament Scriptures and Doctrine and Theology Topics through satellite schools in churches world-wide. There are interesting electives available as well including topics on Biblical Creationism, Christian Apologetics and Worldview, Prophecy and other doctrines, with diplomas and certificates of completion for anyone of high school age and up. Faith Bible Institute students meet together for class on Sundays from 1:00pm - 4:00pm each semester (17-18 weeks). As a satellite school, MCBC endeavors to equip believers with an understanding of how to study the Word of God, and how to apply it to their lives.
FOOD BOX MINISTRY
Moose Creek Baptist Church partners with the Fairbanks Community Food Bank to distribute food resources to those in need in our community. We distribute food boxes every Friday afternoon. Service opportunities through this ministry include taking food box orders in the morning and meeting with the community to distribute food resources in the afternoon.
HOMESCHOOL CO-OP
Our Homeschool Co-Op is a wonderful ministry to homeschooling families who are interested in fostering a time of social engagement, education and a Biblical worldview. Our Co-Op meets on Fridays at the church from 9:00am - 2:00 pm.
